Cabot Head Bruce Peninsula

Description
Access to the lighthouse at Cabot Head, on the Bruce Peninsula is still restricted to the Friends Of The Cabot Head Lighthouse, and those who attend the bird sanctuary. The road was damaged by severe weather in the past few years, and along with mecury being discovered on the site, visitors have been more or less kept away. Hopefully the road will be turned into a hiking, and bike trail so that access to one of Ontario's most remote, and beautiful coastal locations can once again be appreciated. I took this image some years ago, looking north across Wingfield Basin. The only safe natural secluded harbour along the eastern side of the Peninsula.
